Sirat is the Arabic word for path.
The work ‘Sirat’ captures a pilgrimage of the soul, with an intimate search for guidance, clarity, and true enlightenment.
At its heart, a single bird holds fast to the sacred path, its wings gilded in radiant gold. Though bathed in light, it still must labor to remain tethered to this divine course.
Around it, other birds rise in quiet yearning, drawn upward toward the same luminous source. Light brushes their feathers, leaving strokes of illumination alongside uncoloured feathers, a reminder of an unfinished journey.
They ascend in hope and longing, suspended between shadow and radiance, almost awakened, but not yet fully transformed.
